Installing IIS on your Server

It is possible that your Microsoft server does not have Internet Information Services (IIS) installed. If you’d like to run any Directory Wizards product and allow access outside the install server, you will need a web server like IIS to configure for use.

IIS is a Microsoft product and your preferred configuration may depend on a number of factors specific to your environment. Therefore, we recommend referring to Microsoft documentation for guidance on installing IIS.
