As of v2.4, Unitysync has replaced Perl scripting with Javascript. If you are upgrading from v2.3 or earlier any custom map file that uses Perl scripting MUST be converted to Javascript. Failing to do so will result in mass mods and syncing of invalid data the next time the connections are run.

First, you must determine if any of your existing custom map files utilize perl scripting. This is easily done by runnining findstr as detailed here.

Using the output provided by findstr, identify the custom map files that need to be modified.

Contact Support and send a copy of the affected map files. We will assist you in converting the Perl to Javascript.
