At Sync time, UnitySync will try to create the container specified by the parameter Structure Name on the Destination tab.

If UnitySync is unable to create the specified structure, this is considered a fatal error and the Sync process will abort.

You may see this error occur on a first time sync of a new UnitySync connection or, perhaps, upon upgrade.

Solutions:

  • Use a Domain Admin as your Destination login ID.
  • Change your Placement DN to include your Structure Name. Then leave the Structure Name field blank.
