Your current sync connections may need to be modified following an Exchange Migration. Review the following information and contact support@dirwiz.com for further assistance.

  • Is it your Source or Destination that is affected by the Migration?
  • How is your connection presently configured?
  • Is this a typical Create connection, or is this a Create/Join (Both) connection?
  • How are previously synced contacts being handled during the migration? Are synced contacts being migrated?
Note: If the synced contacts are moved or renamed from the original name/location, a Sync following migration could create duplicates.

To avoid the possibility of duplicate objects, consider implementing a Create/Join in order to link to existing Destination contacts. If you are starting with a blank slate (no contacts in the new Exchange forest), you may want to simply rebuild from scratch.

If you have any questions, or would like advice for your particular situation, please contact support@dirwiz.com for further assistance.
