Error Syncing Thumbnailphoto - LDAP Fail

By default, UnitySync does not sync Active Directory Thumbnailphoto. To add thumbnail photo, see the KB article to add a custom attribute to your custom sourcedef and custom object map file.

NOTE: The maximum photo size in the thumbnailPhoto attribute is 100 KB. However, there is a general recommendation to use a graphic JPEG/BMP file format up to 10 KB and 96×96 pixels in size as user’s photo in AD.

If the photo is too large, the Add/Modify of your contact will fail throwing an LDAP Connection Failure.
