If an Ex55 source or destination directory is migrated to Ex200x, you will need to modify your connections to compensate for this change. This is required because the connections are configured to pull from specific directory types, and your directory type has changed from Ex55 to Ex200x. Whichever sync migration path you choose, it is highly recommended you initially set up the necessary connections and [[841|run a few test syncs on only a few contacts]]. In doing so, you can test mail delivery and reply-ability to confirm successful results before resuming syncs of all contacts to the new ex200x domain.

[[286|Syncing from scratch after an EX55 to Ex200x Migration]]: The quick and easy solution is to create a new connection to sync to/from this EX2000 source/destination. Then, run the sync to repopulate both directories from scratch.

[[312|Using a Create/Join connection to Link to exiting objects after an Ex55 to Ex2000 Migration]]: Syncing from scratch may not be desirable if you wish to transfer synced Ex55 objects to Ex2000 during your migration procedure. In this case, you need to set up a Create/Join connection that will allow you to link to existing Ex2000 objects if they exist.
