The sync is attempting to perform an action on an object that does not exist. If this error occurs when attempting to Add a structure or person object, the Placement (destsubtree) may be incorrect. Verify the Placement DN specified on the Destination tab is correct. If this error occurs when attempting to Read the source directory, the Selection (sourcecontext) parameter may be invalid. Verify the Selection DN specified on the Source tab is correct.

If this error occurs on Modify or Delete, the Sync is attempting to take action on a previously synced object, but can not find it. Since the last successful sync, destination objects have been deleted or moved from the destination container. Running the Recovery Procedure will rebuild the database and re-sync any objects that were manually deleted.
