UnitySync logging:

Each UnitySync connection automatically creates a low level log file. Low level log files contain information on Adds/Modifies/Deletes and any Errors that occur. Logs are viewable from the Sync Manager interface. Logs are simple text files and can be found in the connection's directory: \UnitySync\Connections\YourConnectionName\Log.

Optionally, for initial testing or troubleshooting, you may turn on Higher (#3)  level logging (in the Connection's 'General' tab). A high level sync log will provide much more detailed information about the source data being read and the destination data being written.

UnitySync Notifications:

Notifications are disabled by default. To use Notifications, you'll need to enable the feature on the Global SMTP page. Here you must define an SMTP Server and Reply address. You may enable Notifications for all connections globally by also adding email addresses in this global config. Additionally (or alternatively) you may enable Notifications for individual connections. Individual connection Notifications are configured in the connection's 'Email Notify' tab.

These and other SimpleSync features and functions are detailed in the UnitySync User Guide document.
