An Operations Error may occur on writes (Add, Mod, Delete) during the Sync phase. This error indicates a loss of connection to the destination directory.
If this is the first time this error occurred, simply run your connection again, it may have been a one time connection problem and a repeat sync may complete normally.
If the error continues to appear on future syncs notify your network admin of possible network/firewall issues that are causing intermittent network connectivity problems. Also look for packet loss between the SimpleSync server and the destination server. This would explain connection loss at sync time.
If your destination is AD or Exchange 5.5, you can also try pointing the connection to another Exchange 5.5 server in the same destination Exchange Site, or another DC in the AD domain. To do this, you will need a temp key so you can change the IP in your connection for the test.
To be safe, and avoid any possibility of accidental deletes while testing to an alternate server, run a SIMULATION first, and/or change the Destination tab's Delete Function to 'Ignore Deletes' (you can change this back later).
To receive a temp key, email Support@dirwiz.com . Attach your log file and reference this article to request the temp key and obtain further assistance.
