Destination Directory Tab Postini Syncing to a Postini destination is currently supported from an AD or Notes source directory. If your source is other than AD or Notes, contact Support@dirwiz.com to request a new map template for your source type.
A Postini connection will create and maintain destination Postini records based on User data pulled from the Source of the connection.
The following configuration items are available on the SimpleSync Connection’s Destination tab for a Postini destination directory.
Postini Connection Information
URL : https://ac-s #.postini.com/exec/remotecmd (# = Your Postini System Number) ID : Admin User Name Password : Easy Command Shared Secret
If you do not know your System Number, ID or password, you should contact your Postini support representative. Group Account : Name to be given to Postini Account for Group object. (i.e. ADGroupAccount@YourDomain.com)
If you have object type ‘Groups’ selected on the Source tab, your connection will sync Groups from your Source, to your Postini Destination. If you specify a ‘Group Account’ name, a single Postini User account will be created to handle all source Groups. As such, all source Groups will be added as aliases to this single Postini Account. (In v4.8, Group Account is required. As of v4.8.1, if Group Account is left blank, each source Group will sync over as an individual Postini User account.)
Defining a Custom Postini User Organization If you have more than one Postini User Organization , you may need to add a custom mapping to identify the User Organization you want to sync to. By default, the sync will create objects in your default Postini User Organization (this is the organization that contains your domain). If you want to sync to another User Organization, you need to create a Custom Object Map (on the Custom Map tab) and add a mapping to identify the desired Organization. i.e. org=Postini Org Name
