Happy New year to each and all! Work on Profiler is progressing slowly but surely. We are trying to incorporate as many standards based calls to keep the product flexible.
For example: DNS - Microsoft actually did a nice job with their Active Directory based DNS services. With one DNS call we can gather a list of all domain controllers (and GC's) in a forest. This will make configuring Profiler much easier. Rather than keying in an IP address to a domain controller a drop down list of host names is offered. In a multi-domain forest this small resource is invaluable.
